Printing XDCam FCP Project to DvcProHD Tape

Tomorrow, I will be exporting a 30 second project from FCP completely shot in XDCam 1080/24 HQ (Sony EX-1) to a DvcPro HD tape via. a DVCPROHD tape deck (obviously, haha)

I've never done this so I'm wondering what steps should I anticpate to take? I assume since the codec is XDCAM that exporting to to DvcProHD tape deck won't occur unless I export and convert the project to a DvcProHD codec video and then bring that into a timeline in a FCP project set for DvcPro HD and exporting as is, correct? Let me know and thanks!

Well, it depends. You can do it that way (convert to a dvcpro HD timeline) and export trough Firewire to the deck, or you can do HD-SDI out to the deck, through a Kona or Decklink card from your current timeline.
