HI all!
I'm outputting some TV shows edited in Hi-Def ProRes422... We imported all the footage from HDV through the KONA Aja via component. I've already output a ProRes422 QT as well as compressed the final show to DVD... but my boss wants a "hi def" copy on tape as a backup.
Our deck only has the Video, S-Video and HDV/DV firewire inputs - so is the only way to do this to render my final sequence to HDV, then print to video via HDV over firewire?
I feel like our workflow is a bit janky... are we gaining anything by importing the HDV through the KONA? Would our resolution be the same if I just imported using the FCP HDV format?
Any help would be great! Thanks!
