printing to tape problem

i recorded some 24pa footage. i put it on a 24p timeline in vegas 6. i even rendered it to an avi file with 24p 2-3-3-2 pulldown. but now i want to print the timeline to tape.

it asks me what template i want. i choose NTSC 24p (2-3-3-2 pulldown) because i want to be able to re-edit this

i press "next" for the leader and trailer option

but on the next screen of "device setup", it won't let me choose anything. the "manual", "crash" and "auto edit" are blocked and won't let me select anything. but it DOES work if i simply want to print to normal dv. it just won't let me print it back to 24p. help! what am i doing wrong?

also, i've had the "allow pulldown removal when opening 24p DV" selected. is that wrong?

Are you using Vegas 6b? My "print to tape" did the same thing on that version but was fixed with version c.

Leave pulldown removal selected.

i'm actually using vegas 6a.
but, thanks to another post, i found out i can print to tape from the vegas capture mode, instead of going to "print to tape" directly in vegas. thx people!
