Printing to Tape HELP!

Everytime I go to print to video for my projects the video never shows up on the camera. It seems magically after hours it will appear but the process of this hit-and-miss is getting extremely frustrating. Has anyone experienced this problem and knows the solution?
 
How are you trying to get the footage onto the camera? Are you actually using the Print to Video function? If so, what are your settings for it? When you select it, it gives you some options, what are you setting those options to? I've not heard of this problem before. I suspect a setting somewhere.
