I was wondering if anyone had a slick way of creating a paper copy of your log-bin. Extra points to anyone who knows how print out thumbnails as well...
I have used dvLogX in the past, and it was great for this purpose, but workflows have evolved...
I'm afraid its not slick at all. Just create a batch list. If you do a batch list of the entire browser it'll show up as one giant list. Otherwise you need to do individual batch lists for each bin. A pain I know all to well (already done it for nearly 200 tapes and likely have 500-600 more to do by the time we wrap).
Once its a batch list you can take it into Excel and do whatever you want with it. And if you can find someone who is okay w/ VB Script you can even have them work Excel over to automate stuff for you.
But if you do find a better way from anywhere, please let me know, cause I'd certainly kill for one at the current time.
