I'm working on a project that I've shot all my footage using 24pa. The client wants all this footage delivered on DV tape so they can dump it back in on their NLE (Final Cut Pro I think) and make the final DVD.
My issue is, I can print it to tape fine using all the different options...but I want to print it back to tape inserting 2-3-3-2 pulldown I think for the best look. And I can do that fine, but when i try to re-caputre it in Vegas nothing is captured? I can get it to capture if i use the DV widescreen template (i used squeeze mode) but I think it adds frames and doesn't look as good as when I put it on a DVD using the 24p Widescreen template for DVD architecht?
Is it possible to print to a DV tape using the print to tape inserting 2-3-3-2 pulldown template, and then be able to re-capture it? Or do I have to use the DV Widescreen template?
