I can't get this function to work for me.
I'm using FCP 6.03 with at DVX100B

I follow all the steps but I never see the footage playing on the DVX LCD screen therefore when I click OK (hit OK when the recording device is ready) nothing is recorded to the tape.

I don't ever have a problem capturing so communication to the DVX is on point.
Anyone have a suggestion?

it would be best to post this in the final cut section of the forum.. might get more answers,

do you have dvx on record mode, or playback mode?

I got it in VTR (playback) mode.
