HI- Checking if anyone has a tip or suggestion regarding the Print to Tape function on Sony Vegas 8. I understand how to Print to Tape (the function worked properly to my MiniDV cam) using the NTSC DV template, but WOW. The quality is truly horrible. Way oversaturated colors, fuzzy...really, really bad. The sound is nice though! Should I be taking certain steps before rendering to output a better picture? And when I select the NTSC DV template, the "Custom" button next to it has no effect except if choosing "Best" or "Good", etc. Video Rendering Quality. I chose "Best". I imagine there aren't as many options for tape as there are for making files. The clip looks terrific when I export it as an avi or mpeg, but on tape...horrible. I must be doing something wrong because I can't imagine Vegas would be so lacking in this area when cheapo programs I have used in the past redner out to tape nicely. Thanks for any suggestions! Ken
