I read almost everything about the subject, but still my camera won't play the video on it.

It shows a single frame, but it doesn't follow it.

External Video is set to All Frames.

Audio follows video.

It is also set to Image+Wireframe.

The only way it would play the video if I go to Match Clip > Master Frame. Then it plays with no problem, but only the master file.

Weird.

Would really appreciate your thoughts.

If your external video is set to all frames you should see it being played of the time line. Is your external video sorce by chance set to anything but firewire DV.. Sounds like it is. So I dont see what the problem would be. Try using a different firewire cable or something like that. I hope you figure it out.
