Print to tape-HDCAM SR

I am at the final stage of a project I have been working on for almost two years. I will soon have to print to HDCAM SR with my system. The project is Pro Res and 1080p.
My system is a quad with FCP 6.2. I didn't want to upgrade software or hardware until the project was done and the system works well.
I have a Matrox MXO (8bit) and we will be renting a HDCAM SR deck. My plan is to output using SDI from the Matrox but my fear is that though the project plays back fine off the timeline now, when the music and sound mix is done I will export it as a 422 and it will choke during playback. It is a 1 hour show and the HDCAM SR deck is VERY expensive to rent so I get one day to do this.
Advice?
Would I be better off to just export the project to a 10,000 rpm esata drive and bring it to a post house for transfer to HDCAM SR?
Thanks
Brian

I too vote for Post House. With the MXO you will also need to buy additional hardware...hardware to control the deck. Keyspan Serial adapter and RS-422 cable. Plus you need to know how to operate an HDCAM SR deck. It isn't a simple DV deck.

Thanks all, I spoke with the producer this morning and he has found a post house who will do the layback. And you are right Shane, I forgot to mention that I have a Keyspan Serial adapter and 422 cable from my days of Betacam layback..
I will pick up a 300 gig WD 10K drive this week but I suppose they will probably just move the file to their system rather than use my drive, but just in case.
Cheers and thanks again!
