So my dvx100 will now record clean unbroken audio after much blind cleaning of all parts I could see in the tape transport area. Now, when I print to tape from Vegas 7 I get a on again off again audio signal. It is roughly a half second dropout of audio on the DV tape. Audio for half a sec then none, repeat cycle. Is this an issue with Vegas or the DVX? I'm printing to tape directly from an non-rendered time line. It's weird!
