Print to DVD

Can't activate this option, it's grey and not accessible? Anybody know's what's wrong? I have the latest uppdate 4.54.

Print to DVD is disabled depending on the project setting.
Switch to a DVD-compatible project setting (resolution) and it should be available.
 
Well, checked that and unfortunately got the same result, print - to DVD is grey. Even a simple standard new SD project didn't work. I usually have P2 HD material.

I also have problems with placing simple dissolve-transitions. The cut-point jumps ramdomly to odd places. No matter if I have ripple-mode on or off. Seems like I need to start all over again - format & reinstall stuff...

That doesn't sound good at all. I would uninstall, clear out the Program Files\Canopus\EDIUS folder, then reinstall.
 
Even if you have an SD preset doesnt mean its will work, SD 60i preset is the ONLY one that activates the DVD out.

30p and 24P SD will gray out the print to dvd option.

If you already finished your sequence in another preset, just start a 60i preset and IMPORT your sequence in this preset.

Hope this solves that.

Yup, because 30p and 24p are not DVD-friendly (you can use pulldown for 24p DVD that's NTSC, but DVD Creator doesn't support that).
 
Sorry, hadn't time to reply. I seems like my Edius4 folder lacks alltogether the folder containing Print to DVD part - XplodePro or so, checked this with our local support. Now teh question is, why and from how deep I need to reinstall?
