Previewing HDV footage to external monitor

I converted all my clips in Cineform and currently editing in the HDV 24p template... Does anyone know how I can preview my 720p footage back to a 720p capable LCD screen. I'm going from the computer to the HVX200 via firewire and the from the camera to the LCD screen via component cables. Everytime I press the little preview button in Vegas, it doesn't show up on the cameras small LCD screen, therefore it won't show up on the bigger LCD screen.

I can preview it fine when I set the camera to 480i and preview it to an external monitor like how I would with MiniDV footage, but is there a way to preview it through component 720p?
 
I'd say to connect the TV to the PC, not to the camera. Then, capture the footage to the PC, and use the TV as a second monitor, and preview them there via the graphics card.
