Preview during capture problems "Video Playing on Hardware"

When I try to capture using CS3 and the Cineform AspectHD plugin, the preview monitor in CS3 doesn't show the video. It just says...

"Video Playing on Hardware"

How do I change it so the video is playing on the premiere preview monitor?

Also it doesn't give me the option for Scene Detect. Why is that? I am using a Canon XH-A1 and capturing HDV footage.
 
I'm capturing video from my camcorder while this problem is happening. Obviously I can't unplug my camera and capture footage from it...
 
you can't use scene detect with HDV and doesn't CineForm for HDV disable the preview when ingesting, something about conserving processing power, why do you need to see the preview anyway, logging?
 
Yes, just to keep tabs on where its at. I guess like you said Cineform disables this. I have been using the camera LCD to monitor it instead. However scene detect is working with my HDV footage.
