Capturing PAL footage with a Sony deck (normally set to NTSC) and FCP 6,
I got a "preview disabled" display in the capture winow even though my easy setup
was correct and I could play the tape and see timecode.
I finally figured out a workaround by quitting FCP, putting the deck in Play manually
(so it switches to PAL), then launching FCP. No problem!
