Pretty complicated issue regarding color spaces

Felix, I'm trying to wrap my mind around this interesting thread. I seem to recall that Glenn Chan (resident CC expert over in the SCS forums) recommends not using 32bit color in Vegas. What advantage do you see switching to 32bit for colorgrading?

EDIT: Here is a thread where Glenn briefly mentions 32bit color in Vegas.
