Press Releases

We're submitting a press release tomorrow morning and I'd like your quick opinion.

The PR starts: "Nong Khai, Thailand October 18th, 2007 - ....."

Question: Do you think having "Nong Khai, Thailand" will hurt our chances of US newspapers/blogs/tv stations picking up the story since it's international or do you think we should use our US address which is "Wimberley, TX"?

I feel like US newspapers would be more likely to run a story about a TX press release than they would a rural Thailand one. What do you think?

You're not suppose to send the same press release twice. Because it goes to a lot of the same media offices.

Fantastic!

Did you submit the PR through prweb.com? What does it cost?

How did you find out you made it on the GNN website, did they notify you?

One of our members submitted the story to GNN and after a few hours I noticed it popped up on their frontpage.

Yes, we used PRWeb. So far it seems to be working ok. We didn't get a lot of extra traffic to our site on the first day but it might take a while for some people to find it.

We got their Media Package. But we received an $80 PRWeb coupon for hosting our site with Bluehost.

Jason - We could have easily written another 500 words about how great DVXuser is, but the press release was already long enough. lol :)

Well, except for that one blemish, it was a real nice press-release PK. Hopefuly some larger outlet will come across it and pick it up and that'll start getting the other folks picking it up too.

You are doing good things man. Keep it up. It's encouraging to see things like this.

Later,
Jason
