Hi, perhaps this might sound like a stupid question.
I recently purchased a new H4N along with a Sescom L2Nmic (with monitor) in order to sync up audio directly in my DSLR. I also have a Rode NTG2 coming in my H4N instead of using the on-board mics.
This is the stupid part - when I press RECORD on my DSLR, is it automatically picking up audio from the H4N or do I need to press RECORD on the H4N at the same time?
I wish I could test, but I've left some parts of my gear in the city and I can't go back to my studio for another week...
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks.
