Preparing the Premiere project for going to Da Vinci colour correction.

We are taking our 2 hour long movie project to a color corretion facility. They work with Da Vinci and they need the actual cut list. I have exported the entire movie with a Cineform AVI Codec but I still need to make all the cuts on the movie on a single track yo export the cut information. Is there a way for Premiere to locate the cuts within my AVI and cut up the AVI into a multitude of smalle ones?

Thank you.

Export an EDL from the original edit sequence...not the AVI movie you made.

Take the source footage to the facilty with the edl.

Yo mayhave to set up your original edit sequence in a manner that plays nicely with the edl, the source file locations and the other facility.

Well, givent that it only allows for 1 or 2 tracks that have no sub-sequences EDL is useless. I conclude it's easier to make the cuts manually in the AVI than cleaning up the timeline.

Now you just have to find a way for Resolve to work with avi.
