OK, Im a little nervous...actually a lot. I have a big postproduction house interested in doing some color timing for our documentary. I just got done talking with them about the workflow and now im all confused. 
First, they said we would do a HD conform from my masters. I edited everything in FCP, used my trusty DVX100A. How and what will they need me to do for the HD conform? Will I have to send them all of my master tapes? Im just a little confused. Any help on how this works would be greatly appreciated.
Also, if Im just going to project my film for festivals do I even need to go through this process? Its all a little confusing for me. CAn I just do everything in FCP, export the DVD and use that in festvials? Will converting it to HD do anything for me?
