Premiere "Serious Error"

I have edited several short videos without a problem on Premiere Pro CS3... until now. I keep getting a message that "A serious error has occurred that requires PP to shut down...". Below are my specs. I recently added a 2nd monitor: a 32-inch LG. Before adding the 2nd monitor, I had "system memory running low" messages. I have since optimized Vista, removed as many unneccesary programs from drive C as possible and moved most files to my external or storage drives. YOUR SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

I think that Jordan_S nailed it.
Something you *might* want to consider (once you get that problem resolved) is the deal on CS6 . . . I read somewhere that the opportunity for folks with CS3 ends on December 31st.
Although I also have/occasionally use Edius Broadcast, Final Cut X, and Avid Media Composer, I've been up to speed with Adobe since the beginning.
The subscription thing might not work for you (but it does for me) . . . anyhow, this was intended as information: https://creativecloud-specialoffer.adobe.com/special-offer/?loc=en_US&sdid=JVXVL

Best.
