Premiere Render/Codec Problem

I have PP2.0 and I've been trying to render out a 5 min DV project in uncompressed avi to convert to h.264 in Quicktime Pro. Problem is, the uncompressed file is only readable in Premiere and nowhere else, including Quicktime.

Another strange thing is that when I check the render setting Premiere is rendering the file out with a 10 bit YUV color space. I don't know much about this area but I'm pretty sure that it should be RGB and that option is not available. Anyone can shed light on these problems?

Instead of selecting "uncompressed avi"...select "microsoft avi." Then under the video tab, for compressor select "none." Although I might export an uncompressed quicktime .mov to encode an h.264.
