Premiere Pro start-up problem

The other day I got Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 for the first time ( i have previously been working with 6.5). The installation went by quite smoothly, but when I attempt to launch the program, it tells me-

Error: Failed to launch the application (0xc00001d) click OK to terminate

Anybody know why the program wont launch? Ive tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it several times, with no luck.

Assuming that you have a computer that satisfies the minimum system requirements, you may have a registry problem from a failed earlier installation attempt. I think that an email to Adobe's customer support may be the next step for you.

I dont think thats the problem. I tried installing the software on my laptop (never had an NLE installed before) and it did the same thing, installed fine but then wouldnt launch the program. Maybe its something with the installation process?

Im using a Nvidia GeForce 5200 FX graphics card. My computer only has 128mb of RAM, but I never had a problem running Premiere 6.0 in the past. Thanks alot Isaac_Brody! That was a huge help, im going to check those problems now

Well problem solved then...required 256mb RAM. I'll have to update that. Sorry for the continuos hassle. Thank you for your patience.

When I use 6.0 I have a Elsa Gladiac 920 with 64 MB. I have used it to 6.5 and have no problems

That's 64MB of video ram you are talking about. He's running it on a computer with 128MB of SYSTEM ram.
