Premiere Pro Presets

Hi

I downloaded the trial version of PP CS3 to see how the s/w works before making the actual purchase.

I noticed, while creating a new project, that the presets in HDV have 1080i (50i & 60i), 1080p (25p & 30p), and 720p (25 & 30)

How do i capture 24p? or 60p? in 720/1080?

Please advise.

If you go to "DESKTOP" you should be able to adjust the settings to your footage. However, if you're using the HVX, the settings are already there.

For 1080 24p, go to the DVC Pro HD folder and select "DVCPROHD 1080i 24p"

For 720, go to the 720p folder and select either "DVCPROHD 720p 24p" or "DVCPROHD 720p 60p."

I believe these are updates in Premiere for version 3.1.1 so download the update if you're not on the latest version.

As far as the trial version goes, I'm not sure if you can DL the update or if the trial version is the latest version of Premiere.
