For those of you so inclined, Adobe has put/is putting the PPro v3.2 update up for automatic download today. It adds XDCAM, XDCAM HD, and XDCAM EX support, along with a lot of great (read: ESSENTIAL) bug fixes. Information at Adobe's DAV TechTable Blog right here. The readme/release notes isn't online yet, but the addressed bugs are listed here.

I'm not an XDCAM user, but I've got to say that I've been really impressed so far with Adobe's update cycle on PPro, as well as the other apps in the suite. I know there are plenty of people out there saying this stuff should have been in CS3 from the beginning, but I for one appreciate that they're taking the time to get the implementations of these later formats right. If XDCAM works as well as P2 support does, this is going to be a huge boon for those using these formats. Very cool.

PS: Downloading now  Get your update shoes on, folks...

I'm still waiting for them to fix some bugs in PP2. They put out a total of 4 patches for 2, and none were bug fixes.

I wouldn't wait too long for PP2 updates... it's an EOL product. Upgrading to CS3 would be your only recourse, unfortunately.

The way I see it, they owe me. If CS# is the fix, then they owe me CS3. I already spent my money for a "supposedly working" program. If it were any other product that was defective, there would be a recall issued.

But, I apologize, I didn't intend to hijack your tread. Congrats on your bug fixes.
