Hi,
I was wondering whether somebody can throw some light on the workflow for
working with PP3 and audition. Since PP3 cannot export OMF i was thinking then what would be the workflow that people follow to dit dialog..
Currenlty there is not work flow, REALLY BAD, it seemed adobe have dropkicked audition out of the bundle and there is no OMF export even if there was audition wouldn't read it. And the AAF export is pretty much useless, this is the weekness of the bundle
which means not many people are using audition for editing?
but i am sure people will be using PP3 for editing..what do they rather how do they edit dialogs while editing with PP3 even if you are not using audition in particular...soppose u are using PP3 and some other sound editing s/w..what is ur workflow then?
I'm thinking enough people are complaining about now OMF or way to profesionally making audition compatible with other workflows that Adobe will intergrate it soon or next release of Premiere and Audition
Because there is a MAJOR amount of people complaining.
I hope that Adobe better do that..Actually I already bought this stupid audition and already have this PP3..so I was thinking how people do this audio editing with these applications..I am planning to do a short film for festivals ..I want to look like as professional as possible so just want o know whether I have got the right tools or not..
just do what every one used to to, have a track for dialoge, track for music track for effects, or multiples of each render to septure wav and do your post on those, its a ***** but what do you do ?
But the problem with this workflow is that when I render audio(dialog) files as separate wav files it gets unlinked from the video file and they somehow loose the sync between them..suppose after some time if i want to increase few frames of my clip in the timeline, once i render the audio part separately, it gets too difficult to handle these, somehow i cannot increase both audio and video now..they seem to go awry...
any suggestion..
Finalize Video, and render the complete track from timecode 0:00:00:00 to the end, post this file (distructive or non distructive) but leave it the same lenght in audition
