I have a question about Premiere Pro CS3.1 and Edius Broadcast 4.5
I am filming in SD only at the moment and I am editing with Avid Liquid 7.2 Pro. I am quite happy with this solution right now.
But now I have bought myself a HVX 200 .
As long as i will still only produce in SD, I will stick with Liquid.
But when I want to edit HD, I have a problem, for Liquid does not support 720p and probably will not get an update for that any more.
Then I see for myself 2 solutions: changing to Premiere Pro CS3.1 or to Edius Broadcast 4.5.
I am making martial arts instructional DVDs in PAL, where I use slow motions and I also need a good color correction. These DVDs will be produced in german and english but I have to be able, to produce also an english NTSC version.
What would you suggest, when I would like to edit P2 material in the DVCPRO HD format?
PPCS3.1 oder Edius Broadcast 4.5?
