Premiere Pro 24p Export Problem

So we did a music video. Both cams were DVX100. Both shot at the F5 setting, same white balance, same shutter, everthing. the footage was identical. Watched both cam's footage on tvs...looked great. Captured all the footage...looked great. Edited the whole thing, exported to DVD and it appears ONE of the camera angles is choppy but one isnt. However, ive watched that footage on a tv from the tape and after captured and it looked perfect. Something went wrong with the encoding, what happened? I exported with

MainConcept Encoder
Progressive field order
29.97 fps
Quality - 5.0
1 pass variable bit rate - 6.5 minimum, 7 target, 7.5 maximum

Like i said, SOME of the footage looks perfect, but some others looks kinda choppy and i dunno, motion blur at some points. But other times its fine, what happened?!!

Thanks,
Jordan

Might not be the encode, even though you said the footage "appeared" fine before hand. Are you using PPro 1.5 or 2.0 and did you capture your footage with scene detect/individual clips - or as one huge clip?

I'm gonna take a guess and say you captured the contents of the tape as one huge clip and Premiere didn't interpret the 3:2 pulldown correctly across multiple takes.

no ive checked over the files, they're all fine. i captured them seperately. the filming and capturing portion of it was fine. iknow that. something went wrong when i saved it.
