premiere pro 2 + dvx100a

Hi everyone,

I have a problem capturing video from a dvx100ae in premiere pro 2. I made some research in the forum but I did'nt find a solution.

It's like premiere pro doesn't reconize my DVX. I can capture with a little sony pc105 though...

I'm working with:


premiere pro 2
DVX100ae
Windows XP sp2

Any suggestion ?

If you can it's better to capture with another camera so that you don't run the risk of blowing the DV port on your DVX.

Does your computer recognize your dvx ?

Yes I can capture from movie maker. The problem is in premiere pro 2
