Hi everyone,
Since I´m new here, and this is my first post, just to be sure - I´m sory
if I´m making a dupllicate thread.
So I was thinking, I usually shoot 50p rather than 25p for a simple reason - in a 25 frame project, it gives me beatifull 50 percent slow motion, since it should be showing real frames, not made up by some mathematical operation.
Thing that bothers me (not too much though), is that, how does the Premiere handle 50p footage in a 25p project?
I remember that CS4 used to turn the frame blending on by default, when the frame rates did not correspond with the project (which was utterly anoying, having to uncheck all the boxes). Luckily, the CS5 doesn´t do that.
So how does it handle the frames in Premiere CS5? Does it take every other frame and that´s it, or is there any nasty interpolating or similar nasty, mathematical operations happening?
