Premiere CS4 HDV offsync problems! help! deadline.....

Hello, i need some help...

Every-time i import HDV footage from the a1 i always get most of the tapes off-sync. its very agitating since i have a deadline for a wedding.

i also have problems with premiere running very slow and the realtime previewing is almost always not what it should be.

is there anything i could be doing wrong? any specific settings i should have with vista? Premiere pro cs4?

im running
2.5 GHZ QUAD CORE AMD
4 GIGS OF RAM
2 terabytes (Raid 0) Video storage
1 terabyt ( System )
nvidia 9800gt 1 gig vram
Windows vista

Ok, have you up dated to 4.1.0 ? Vista may be the problem to, are you running vista 64bit if so get more ram . Also if you still haveing a problem Maybe try a nother format to editing in or downconvert and edit in SD. Other solution maybe down load Canopus Edius and do you main edit in that and then export and finnish the edit in PPro. hop that helps
 
Premiere capturing HDV out of sync have been an issue since v2.0. Download HDVsplit for free and use that instead.
 
new update Prem CS4 4.1.0 fixes the audio sync issue - so far.... was one of the most irritating things that could happen when your halfway through an edit and you find out that the sounds all screwed up!
