Premiere CC Multi GPU - Add Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT + NVidia Geforce GT43 to GTX 1080?

I turned on CUDA in Premiere Pro CC and running a GTX 1080.

I have a Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT and NVidia Geforce GT430. Would installing these cards with my GTX 1080 benefit Premiere Pro, AfterEffects or Resolve Davinci or are these cards too old, slow or incompatible?

What sort of gains can I achieve if these cards would be useful?

I may only have one slot available, so which card would be the best to install?

Do I need to install the hardware a particular way and how would I set up the software?

Thank you.

I don't know for sure, but I really really doubt you'd see any performance improvement at all. And I'd further guess using the two cards together just wouldn't work/ And....

Check out this performance comparison chart and factor in that your 1080 is a bit faster than the 1070 listed at the top of this chart:

Chart from here: https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=GeForce+GT+430

I don't know exactly where you 9600GT card would fit on that chart, but isn't it close to 10 years old so I'd guess it'd be about the same.

And even if you could get the cards to work together (a big if), I'd think the best-possible scenario would be an imperceptible improvement.

That's my take...

Thinking more about this, are the gaming cards designed to work together or is this reserved for the Quadro cards? There may be a limitation in the amount of work that is allowed between these multiple cards. I'm not even sure that you can assign a gaming card to assist the CPU with number crunching like you can with the professional cards. I don't remember seeing this option in my laptop with a GTX960 chip (nVidia Optimus junk).

Thanks for the reply.

Doesn't Adobe Premiere Pro CC distribute the processing to the cards installed? So the cards do not have to work together?

I am still researching on it, but I thought that was what it does when you install different cards together and using the latest versions of these video editing software.

Am I incorrect?
