Premiere CC 2019 - Black Screen in GPU playback

Just upgraded to CC 2019. Installation went smoothly, however, when I am playing back using GPU accelaration the video doesn't show, just a black screen. When I switch to software acceleration, it's fine.

Any thoughts?

It turned out to be an nvidia driver issue. I reinstalled the driver and restarted and it was fine. Thanks.

Glad you got it working. Adobe has a blog post about this.. It's from a couple weeks ago so the "upcoming" releases are the ones just unleashed.

Glad you got the problem sorted - so frustrating when an upgrade stops you in your tracks! Out of interest, have you noticed any performance change since the upgrade, or are there any additional features that motivated you to try the 2019 version, or was it just a routine update for you? I actually didnt realize the upgrade was so recent..i thought they released it a month ago and I was being cautious by not upgrading right away. I was mistaken apparently. I normally upgrade just to stay current although was interested in the infographic feature mentioned. That being said, i ran into issues with previously dynamically linked AE files that I wasnt able to resolve (I believe its a bug) so I decided to rollback for the time being.
