Premiere and Keylight question

Can you use the Keylight plugin (came with After Effects) with Premiere 2 or do you have to go with After Effects to use it. Also, did Adobe improve the keying effects of 1.5 in 2.0 or is it basically the same??? Thanks

Just tried it and Keylight did not load in PPro 2 for me. Most likely it is purposely crippled like the Color Finesse plug. If you have AE 7.0, you can use dynamic link to pull an AE composition right into PPro 2. Pretty cool. As for the native keying effects in PPro, I've done all my keying in AE so I can't comment.

I have used it in PPro 2.0 before on machines that do and do not have AE installed, worked on both.

It should have worked for you. Are you getting an error message of any type?

No error message. Just didn't show up in the effects list. I THOUGHT I put it in right folder 'cause I've manually loaded plugs many times before. I'll give it another try. Thanks!
