i saw this questions before but ive edited my 24pa sd dv footage and i would like to export to a dv avi file without the interlaced frames. i have premier to work with the 24pa footage and if i export dvd it doesnt have the extra frames but when i export -> movie and save as avi it has the not wanted frames? any advice or am i doing somehing wrong in settings?
 
be sure you export to a 23.976 or 24p file. you likely have it set to export to a 59.976 fps (60 fps) file using either interlaced frame or repeat frame cadencing to fill in the 24p material. it should be using the 24p advanced DV codec from ppro , or another video for windows or quicktime codec also using a 23.976 or 24p timebase. if your timeline is 24p it should be easy to export to the 24p avi.

hi everyone i was wondering is it possible to convert my 60i footage to 24p in premiere pro 2.0,if yes how do i do it
