Ok All You Premier Pro Users. Ive Been Using Adobe Pre. 3.0 For Some Time Now And Find It Easy To Get Around In, I Also Have Never Had A Error Code And IT Never Fails To Do What I Want. It Was A Low Cost Edit Pgm But After Using Pinnacle I Was Happy To Get Something That Worked. I Feel Im At The Point Where My Editing Skills Have Advanced To The Point Where I May Have Grown Out Of 3.0. What Features Could I Expect To Get From A More Expensive Version Of Adobe Premier And What Ver. Would You More Experienced People Reccomend For This Advanced Novice?
Thx........

Do you mean to say you have Premiere Elements? If so, Premiere Pro CS3, if you're comfortable with the Adobe interface and workflow, is the next logical step. When you get CS3, you get everything the software can do--there are no software tiers. You can add additional plugins and hardware that give you more functionality with certain video formats, but for the "advanced novice" such as yourself, the software alone will give you a great deal more flexibility than Premiere Elements. Though I'm not familiar with that piece of software specifically, I have to assume it's pretty stripped down compared to PPro.

Like I said, if you're comfortable with Adobe, and what to grow your tool set and skill set, PPro CS3 makes sense. I'm assuming you're in PC Land, so your only other options are Avid Xpress Pro (Media Composer is just way to expensive), Canopus/Grass Valley Edius, and Sony Vegas. I'm not even going to count Avid Liquid--that's total Fisher Price. Adobe probably offers some attractive upgrade pricing, however, if you decide to stick with them.

My two bits, anyway...
