Pregancy logic in Kill Bill 1/2 regarding B.B. and Beatrix

Hi Everyone,

In Kill Bill 1/2, how does Bill snatch B.B. from Beatrix?

My understanding is this:

1. Beatrix is pregnant during the wedding rehearsal
2. Bill appears and has a yarn with Beatrix outside
3. The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad appears at the door
4. ONE of the deadly viper squad (we don't know because we're not shown) takes out Beatrix. The rest maybe kill all the other guests.
5. Beatrix is presumably knocked out with rock salt
6. While Beatrix is unconscious, Bill steals B.B. possibly via ceasarian section (whether Bill steals B.B. directly at the chapel, or inside a hospital is unknown).

I'm probably going to need to watch the film a third time to understand what really happened...

Logic dictates that if Beatrix is knocked unconscious, if Bill takes her baby, wouldn't B.B. still be a foetus???? Or did Beatrix go into labour while unconscious (if that's even possible???)

I'm just trying to figure out whether Bill cut Beatrix open to grab B.B. Caesarian style, or whether Beatrix was in fact in the throws of child labour the moment she was shot?

And if she was shot, then how did she survive? Did Bill use rock salt to stun her like his brother Budd uses? How come she had no visible bullet wound from the shotgun blast?

Well, I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Bill himself killed Beatrix. At the beginning of Volume 1, Bill says "This is me at my most masochistic." To which Beatrix replies, "Bill, it's your baby." This, to me, implies that Bill was standing right in front of her having this supposed last dialogue. He then shoots her just as Beatrix finishes her confession, and a blood spatter from her head is visible. I assumed here that she was shot in the side of her head but not directly in her brain which is why she wasn't killed.

Then, a while later, Beatrix wakes up in the hospital and her baby is gone. I assumed here that the baby was delivered at some point while she was still in a coma and Bill somehow got his hands on her. Maybe right after the gunshot via c-section, but it's not important.

I don't know why you're bringing the rock salt into this because that's in a completely different tangent in time. Buck shoots Beatrix in Volume 2, which was LONG after the business in question between Bill and Beatrix.

Beatrix was not knocked 'unconscious" - she was put into a coma as a result of the gunshot to her head. She survived the gunshot, and eventually wakes up from her coma after 4 years. Thats why she has no visible gunshot wounds; a few years have elapsed and she has healed in the meantime.

During that time the baby would have been delivered by C section; and Bill as the biological father would have been able to claim the baby as his (using a DNA test or whatever).

Bill did not use rocksalt at any time. His motive in the church was to kill her, the fact that she survived and went into a coma was just a fluke.
