PPRO 3.0 Issue

I shot video on my DVX100a at 24p advanced and captured it into PPro 3.0. Unlike 2.0 which flawlessly captures my material - 3.0 gave me some squigilly lines on pans and quick movement during capture. After I outputted the material it was stuttering on pans and quick movement (where the artifacting - squigiliy lines - were before.) Now, I realize 24P and it's inability to handle quick pans and movement without stuttering, but these were very slow pans and it looked like it was more of a setting problem. The stuttering was more pronounced than I've ever seen.

I captured into a widescreen DV 24p 48k preset just like I do on 2.0. I'm wondering whether it's a bug. Any thoughts? Thank you.

I haven't thought this through completely but am wondering if PP is expecting (or handling) your footage as 24pa or 24pn. Out of curiousity...have you shot a slow test pan at 24pn to compare what it looks like (how it behaves) in the NLE? What I'm trying, somewhat unsucsessfully, to say is it sounds like something may be off in your project preset.
