PP2.0 Bluescreen crash

My problem:
Installed the PP2.0 demo, captured DV footage, computer (XPpro) crashes.
Lists an error (pen-list) on the bluescreen a google search links to an NT error.
Found out about the realtek audio bug PP has, dowloaded the updated realtek HD audio driver, installed - and PP now even doesn´t start anymore, saying "no audio drivers installed" or something...
Anyone had similar problems?
Any workarounds or solutions?

Anyone?
This really is a major problem for me, I´m trying to evaluate the PP2/CineForm combo but can´t even install PP...
The Realtek audio bug is known bug, even Adobe addresses it on their site, has no other PP user here encountered this problem...?
We need to settle with a postpro solution soon, so any help greatly appreciated!

It's very difficult to diagnose system crashes. But the first thing I would do is start with a clean install of XP. If you're still having problems I would make some hardware changes. Sometimes just changing the ram, sound, or video card can fix things. Ask a friend if you can borrow some parts from his/her computer to try to pinpoint the problem. Sorry I can't be of more help, but I've had nothing but excellent results from PP 2.0, def the most stable editing experience I've had.

Weird - I have RealTek audio and PP 2.0 works fine - I don't have the trial version tho but I doubt there is much difference. Try rolling back to a checkpoint before you installed the RealTek drivers. Better Red then Dead - I remember that line from an old series called Steamroom where god was a janitor in a steam bath and the people in the steam bath were in pergatory. That the same reference?
