Powering multiple devices (cam, evf, ext. recorder) with single v-mount plate?

So I currently have an FS700 and Alphatron EVF, with the possibility in the future to own/rent an Odyssey7Q external recorder. I was wondering about using a v-mount plate (such as this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tilta-BP-VM...er-Supply-System-For-5D2-5D3-7D-/261174803696) to power all three devices at once.

I believe I could use the 8V for the FS700, 12V for the EVF and 14.4 for the Odyssey7Q. Is 8V too much if the FS700 is technically made to work with 7.4V? Also, if the v-mount battery itself is only made to output 14.4V, I can't draw more than that, correct?

Now, I know some IDX batteries can piggyback, but I assume that keeps them in parallel rather than in series, so the voltage doesn't get multiplied.

Any insight for this? or would I be better off trying to power the FS700 and EVF off of one plate, and dedicating a second plate to the Odyssey7Q?

No, you don't draw voltage, you draw current. The unit will be able to provide current to any output in any combination of voltages. So you can use all the outputs. However, what they don't tell you is how much current you can draw in total. So you don't know if you're application will work. This is true of any of the adapters I've looked at.

I believe the Lanparte version is well received. There may be others.

ah, thanks for the clarification. I guess if I could run the EVF and camera from it, it's worth checking out and testing it with an external recorder in addition.

Hopefully, someone will speak up about how they are using their v-mount battery adapter and say how much equipment they can support.
