Powerful Fan

[lxjordanxl]

I have an outdoor commercial shoot coming up and I need a fan that is powerful enough to blow the actresses long black dress back. Some of the shots are a wide and I need a fan that is powerful enough to cause her dress to blow wildly. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

I suggest that you contact a rental house and check for a wind machine(normally an aircraft engine with an aircraft prop). Or, if you have a couple of buddies with airboats, work out a deal for them to bring them over for the shoot. Stirring up wind out of doors requires really heavy duty fans and aircraft engine wind machines are the only thing that are practically available to do it.
Good luck.
