Powerbook editing

Just wondering if anyone here edits on a powerbook. If so, what's the speed like and is it possible to capture directly to the harddrive or do you have to use an external?

Oh and does anyone have a macbook yet? They look SWEET!!!

I use a PowerBook G4. It's not bad. It's not going to be as fast as a G5 and certainly not as fast as G5 Dual, but I've been able to due what I need to on it, including using Motion. It's got a 100 GB hard drive which has all my applications on it. I use an external drive to hold all my video files and video edits.

Cool, that's good to hear. Are you able to capture dv straight to the harddrive?

Thanks, I did read that a few days ago actually. But what I am curious about is capturing minidv from my dvx100. Didn't realize I posted in the HVX section.
