Power Splitter aka Battery Pinch aka DSLR power showdown TRUSMT? LANPARTE? FOTGA????

I wanted to ask owners their experiences with the slew of POWER PINCH's on the market right now.
There has been an awesome thread HERE, about the Lanparte power plate, but there are at least four different plates on the market.

I'd like to purchase one, but I'm torn between the TRUSMT plate and the LANPARTE plate.
I own the Trusmt Matte Box and FF4 and they're very well made and durable.

There are also a bunch of cheaper versions and I'd like to know what experiences people have had with them.

OTHERS???

I use lanparte and It is excellent. I can charge my a/b battery from the same unit. They also have HDMI splitter build in

I guess my hesitation on buying the Trusmt version (i own a number of their products) is that they have not shown the testing and circuitry information that Lanparte has.
The splitter isnt a deal breaker since most of my monitors and EVF have loop through.

I have a lanparte AB mount and it is excellent. Never had any issues with it.

One thing to note though, I don't know what the amperage draw on the regulated power outs is, but I have had issues running a bartech off of the 12V out. Switch it to the 15v out and problem solved.

Also, I would vastly recommend AB mount unless you already have V-mount batteries. the mount is much more solid. exponentially so.

Have you have any trouble running multiple draws? Can you runs like four things at the same time without any trouble?

I have run a wireless transmitter, a bartech, and a monitor before. I can't think of much else I would need to run. plus you can charge your phone off of the USB port!

I think I'd go for either the Lanparte or the Tilta. Maybe just Tilta, since I don't need the HDMI splitter, and judging from Franks setup with the other Tilta parts, I'd say it's a pretty nice piece of machinery.

One of the issues with *all* of these power supplies is availability of compatible cables and adapters.

I have the most experience with the LanParte pinch, but in my experience all of these units suffers from the inability to easily adapt non-standard accessories to work with them.

What do I mean by that?

Well, trying to get anything that isn't the 60D, 7D or 5D running on the LanParte setup means you need to find the right adapter, cable plug and cable to sit between the unit and your accessory.
That's not limited to LanParte, by the way; it's a general statement for ALL fixed-voltage power supply kits (Tilta, Fotga etc)

Whilst I've had great success finding a lot of plugs (most recently have an F3 kit running off the pinch) for my customers, there is the possibility that (as in the case of the D900) you won't be able to find the right adapter/decoded battery.
IMO the blame lies solely on the camera manufacturers who throw in protections to stop people using OEM batteries.

The second (and less obvious point) is, as OP said, to consider the internal circuitry.
I actually have the LanParte model disassembled on one of our benches here and the build quality and design is leaps and bounds over the $100 solutions I've seen on eBay.
Considering that a spike of 14v is likely to kill most smaller cameras, you should really be looking for some sort of guarantee. In the case of Tilta and LanParte, the boards each have in-built fuses... Fotga is one I'm not sure about.

Finally, beware imitations; there're some *nasty* copies of LanParte's model going around on eBay. I have a deal going for DVX users where you can pick up the LanParte unit for $192 (Sony/AB version) including 2-5 day shipping by DHL. This is at cost price.
If you find it cheaper anywhere else, ask a LOT of questions because it's likely to be a knockoff. I'm happy to verify retailers for anyone who asks; in the end I don't care where you buy it from as long as you aren't being scammed.
