power outage

It's so dark and quiet. Not a single light outside, its very weird :/

Imagine if life was like this, no electricity, no lights. Just a torch if you want some light at night

light pollution has robbed us of the night sky. i would love to have a power outage on a clear night and be able to see all the stars.

I've known that feeling well, several times... post hurricane.

I could live with no lights- no AC, that's another story!

That's why I love camping. No light pollution. The night sky looks real, and beautiful.

For those of us that are off grid and miles from others...life is like that.
It's hard for some people to imagine how much noise we live with. Small things like the humming refrigerator, the AC or Heater fan, even the humming of florescent lights.
