power conversion effect on lights

Hey Follks

I am off to africa in a few days, and my itenerary has just changed some what dramatically. I have a couple power converters for accesoriess and all. I thought I was fine. But now it seems I have to do a few sit down interviews.
Here is the new dilemma. I have an arri kit, and the prementioned adapters. If I use them,(they are under the wattage) what will happen to my lights. In theory the bulbs should not pop, they are good converters, but I just want to see if taking my lights makes sense. Colour temp I can deal with. Let me know, what you think. Thanks

The converters can handle the wattage, there shouldn't be a problem.

A better idea, though, would be to get bulbs that match the voltage of where you're going.

If I get those bulbs, then I just need to use the plug adapter, and not a converter? Will there be any wire frying.

Thanks

GenJerDan is right

when you go up with voltage you come down with amps so you are fine.
