POV on a tripod

i'm shooting pov of a user interacting with various application-type graphics in a real-world environment. the POV has to be straight-on and on a tripod.

has anyone shot something like this? any ideas on how to achieve the most realistic POV of the user's arms or getting the talent's head as close to the camera(HVX) as possible?

thanks

I'd expect to be cutting between wider shots showing the user typing, mousing, pointing and perhaps talking to camera, and other shots purely of the screen (possibly recorded directly via a video port rather than using the camera lens. That will give some visual variety.

clang- that would be logical, but not as cool. the whole concept is pov and the designs are complete.

thanks for your input, both of you. looks like i'll have to get him ots as close as possible, may even have to have his head just below the lens.
