Potential last minute cross-europe gig (radio mic frequencies)

I've just heard back from a producer who's shortlisted me for a 6 week job travelling across Europe (UK, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey). And they're shooting next Monday (!)

I'm just trying to get my head round what's needed radio mic-wise and making sure I've got usable frequencies (and can license them). As it's 6 weeks it makes more sense to buy, rather than rent- however I'm not sure that ch38 will work across all of these countries.

So far I've found the ibs guide:
http://www.ibs.org.uk/faq/index.php?title=Radio_Mics_Abroad
which seems to be useful, although most reports are based on CH69 equipment (due to be phased out next year)

and the Sennheiser frequency checker:
http://www.sennheiser.co.uk/uk/home...l_wireless-microphone-systems_frequency-check

CH38 doesn't seem to be legal to be used (by foreigners) in Turkey and Greece, however CH69 seems to get interference in parts of France and Italy.

Is it worth hiring in each country instead? I also can't find the info I need on the French licensing authority site: http://www.arcep.fr (and don't even know the licensing authorities in other countries)
