When I was getting the production copies of the screenplays for our shoot, I checked with the printers ( a Kinko's type shop ) and they wanted $111 per poster. I wasn't prepared to spend it right then.cygnet74 said:kinko's
yeah, if money is an issue, go with your friend. I've had posters designed and printed for around $400 - $600 by a woman who works at The Ant Farm -- where about half the movie posters you see for studio pictures are designed. If anyone's interested in some professional design work, i could pass her contact info along.Blaine said:When I was getting the production copies of the screenplays for our shoot, I checked with the printers ( a Kinko's type shop ) and they wanted $111 per poster. I have a friend in the publishing biz who has offered to put me into contact with printers he knows...maybe it's time to take him up on the offer.
They do make posters but they're small.galt said:I think Discmakers does posters in a bargain bundle with your DVD order. Never used them for that though...
That's just a printing charge. 10 posters = $1100. We've already got the design work done. Yes, I'd like the contact info on the woman at The Ant Farm. If you don't want to leave it on the BB you can PM it to me. :thumbsup:cygnet74 said:yeah, if money is an issue, go with your friend. Did you ever get the quote?J.D. said:It seems that the standard movie poster size is 27" X 40", printing companies that have a larger press can do this. I am waiting for a quote on 100lb glossy paper, I'll post the price quote when I get it.
