Hey. What is the usual font they use in movie posters? Also how do you get one word over the other, when they are listing credits in a poster? For example:

I'm not too sure of the exact font they use, but its pretty expensive. Theres a free version out which looks just about the same and its called sf movie font downloadable here: http://www.1001fonts.com/font_details.html?font_id=2348

I'm not sure about words over the other but it looks like patience and hardwork

to make overlapping words make 2 layer (one word on each), select the top layer and then use the move tool (it's in the upper right corner of the toolbox) to move it over the word that you want overlayed. if you move the wrong word over, just move the bottom layer up in the layers palette.
