Post Your Workspace (Or better yet, "Help!")

After working with 6.5 for what seems like forever, I made the jump to CS3. It's a little overwhelming, but very cool.

I'm trying to get into the new workspace options....what do you all use or recommend? Standard? All Panels? Right now, I just created a workspace like I would use in the older versions.

I grabbed a screen shot of my dual monitor setup. (apologies for the foolishness, I assure you it's NOT a Modest Mouse video submission, just a test) Anyone want to post their workspace or share some tips? I promise I will RTM, but I figured I'd throw this out to you fellow DVXusers.

I think your setup looks fine. I wouldn't have things like the character and paragraph windows open, but that's me.

The windows I need the most are:

Time controls
Effects Panel
Info panel

Not counting Composition, project or preview. You could save a lot of real estate by losing the windows you will seldom use, and instead, increase the size of your Comp and Project windows.

Having your preview on your second monitor id a great thing to do.

Just don't over clutter. There is a lot of good space not being used by having windows up you really don't need. Give your composition the most respect, and the most size. Keep it to one monitor, as you have, but allow it more space by eliminating the things you really wont use that often.

Personally, I would rather scroll through my project window than my comp window. You could make that comp half of the screen and still be golden.

nice setup.

I would keep the comp on one window then put everything else docked together on the main window...that way you can scale up the timeline large as possible, but still have all the other windows above it.
